Opportunities for our Senior Pupils
This page is set up to help advertise apprenticeships opportunities to our senior phase pupils within the local area. The hope is to add any new apprenticeship information on here to help our senior pupils with making that difficult decision of leaving school in the hope of finding a potential career within the different manufacturing and construction sectors.
Nigg Skills Academy
Dingwall Academy senior pupils were at Nigg Skills Academy today to learn about training opportunities including a 16-week intensive SVQ Performing Engineering Operations LVL2 and a National Certificate within Fabrication and Welding. The pupils were shown around the bespoke training facility, giving them the opportunity to discuss courses and career pathways. This was the perfect opportunity for pupils to explore the variety of job roles and specialisms within the Engineering sector.
This is a trip that we hope to offer each year for our senior phase pupils who are thinking about leaving school for an apprenticeship. |
